Welcome to my ego trip website, yes its all about me. I'm a full-stack developer (currently with a bias for front-end development) who enjoys the logic problems encountered in coding as well as the creative aspects of website design (hopefully seen on this website).
I'm self-taught and never stop learning (the internet never stops advancing).
My current focus is mastering all things Javascript. Lets face it Javascript is (almost) the only language that web browsers actually understand; it now runs on the server in the form of Node.js; together with language improvements from ES2015 onwards, making it unstoppable. Sorry PHP, we've had some good times together.
I'm making good progress on my journey into Typescript, the icing on the Javascript cake. Well done Microsoft (of whom I rarely have nice things to say).
I'm absolutely loving Vue.js. I've not had the chance to use Node.js outside of my personal development time. I'd be very keen to use Express.js, Socket.io, or better still feathers.js in a real project.
I'm passionate about all things Linux, so I develop on my much loved Kubuntu operating system.
Beyond work... I enjoy running, swimming, cooking and listening to music. But, more than anything in the world, I love spending time with my family, playing with my two little girls.
